EXCURSIONS BY BOAT FROM ROSOLINA MARE AND SURROUNDINGS

Sailing in Laguna di Caleri

The boat excursion starts from the berth of Porto Caleri and and navigating through the lagoon, with its clam breedings and its waters created by nature and man.

It’s a unique and enchanting landscape, extremely rich in biodiversity where you can see many native animals.
During the excursion along the "Via delle Valli" you reach Albarella, a landscape of beaches and lagoons. On the way back you can see the Botanic Garden.

The Maistra-Po di Maistra and the "Golena Ca' Pisani"

For birdwatchers, this is the ideal excursion!
The Maistra-Po is an arm of the Po river and it’s the most fascinating arm of the Po Delta. Here is the ideal habitat for birds, especially herons.

"Scano Boa", between lagoon and reeds

You reach Scano Boa sailing along reeds and narrow canals that connect the Po river to its brackish lagoons.
The most rural farms that sank in the 50s and the Punta Maistra lighthouse are the last sign of man's past presence.

Scano Boa is the symbol of the Po Delta and you can find an unspoiled landscape with wild beaches and some "casoni", typical houses of fishermen and hunters.

The great mouth of "Po di Pila"

Only by visiting the main mouth of the Po can you best understand how its delta was formed.

The excursion takes place mostly along the main branch of the river, the Po di Venezia.
During the navigation you can see how it passes from the vast forests of the last floodplains to the extensive bonelli and cane thickets surrounding the lagoons in the mouth area.

From the top of the motorboat, having reached the end of the Po, it is possible to admire the point where the majesty of the great river meets the sea.

Lagoons between "Po di Tolle"

The navigation starts from the beach of Barricata and during the excursion you can visit the lagoon of Canarin and the Sacca di Scardovari, very productive areas for the cultivation of mussels.
Along the way you can see the island of Bonelli Levante which was once a fertile and inhabited area.

Today you can still see the small village submerged. Dolphins and turtles can be sighted while sailing.

Venice and islands by motorship

Visiting Venice is always pleasant, then if you reach it by boat along the lagoon, the experience becomes unique and unrepeatable.

You must arrive by car to the town of Chioggia and there take the boat (the meeting point is Piazzetta Vigo or Sottomarina "Ponte Isola Unione").

The duration of the navigation is about 1 hour and 30 minutes and when you arrive in Venice, you can discover the enchanting beauties of this city rich in history and culture.

Do not miss the islands of the Venetian lagoon like Murano, Burano, Torcello, Lido di Venezia and Pellestrina. They are traditional islands with history and many activities to do.
